Companies have started the intersection of marketing and social media because social media has become a huge platform for companies to reach a huge amount of the population. Social media is becoming a part of the marketing strategy because it is growing more and more popular over the years and is used by millions all around the world.

I believe that out of the three phases the most important one is the trial phase because without the trial phase the other two phases won’t exist. The trial phase gives the company so much information to work with and helps them improve from the trial phase.

The best example for the 4 steps of creating a good social media page is Step 1: defining your goal. That way your audience won’t be confused as to what your social media page will be about. Step 2: Define your target audience and make sure that what you decide to post is towards your audience and not random individuals. Step 3: Choose the social media platform which will be very important depending on who the target audience is and how you want to get your message out. Step 4: Audit your performance which you will reflect how your social media is doing and change anything that is not going well.

The best thing that the reader can take out of reading this blog is the 4 steps it takes to making a good social media. These 4 steps can make a large difference in how effectively social media is being used.

Social media trends are highly popular on all platforms. It is important to stick with the trends to get the most viewers. Video content is an important trend and and I think it started because people want more than a picture. They want to be able too see things in real moving time. Also posting stories is a huge trend as well. This way people can keep what they’re doing publicans people can also tag each other in the stories. It think this has become so popular because everyone wants to do something exciting and let other people know about it. The future of social media marketing is so bright. Social media affects everything that we do. I think that stories will become bigger as well. People love their information public so people can know what they’ve done.

Social listening is very important and it is vital to get feedback from your viewers. The better company is marketing themselves, then they can get more viewers. The feedback will tell them what they are doing good and what they need to improve. Cabrini baseball would use social listening to see what the prospective students want and wha they should showcase.This is important because the viewers need to be able to see what they want to see. Cabrini baseball would have a suggestions sections so they can get feed back. A goal to have is we would track the trends of what is most popular and most viewed. That way we can see what the viewers want. Overall, it is important to listen to the viewers.

There are many social media platforms that are great for video marketing. Cabrini baseball I looking to promote the team and the school to prospective high school athletes with their competitive program. Instagram is a great way to get connected and share videos. As a company we can share videos of game footage on instagram, and it has the options of adding long videos and different things. The instagram stories are also a place to put videos in as well. Another platform is snapchat. Many teenagers today have a snapchat and use into post all sorts videos and pictures. Cabrini baseball can post practice drills and the players can give introductions. They can post this their story so all can see. Overall videos are a great way to contact people.

It is important to develop content calendars. These calendars help plan when new posts are coming out and to keep a nice schedule. It is important not to overload the feed with posts. The most challenging part of developing a calendar was deciding when to posts stuff. With all the different games, and awards that happen throughout the season, there needs to be a good balance. Next time I will make sure that there are game day posts for each game day with all of the information. Those posts will take priority over other events. I will make sure that these posts are eye catching as well. The calendar was very helpful in planning these things out, and I was able to clearly see what is posted.

The first buyer persona for my company Cabrini Baseball is Joe Smith. Joe is a high school senior who is looking to be recruited to play baseball in college. He is eighteen years old. He is looking for a school that is both academically and athletically challenging. He is a motivated kid and wants to play baseball in college. Cabrini baseball has a lot to offer for joe. They have great academics and he would be able to play baseball too. The baseball team will help make sure he gets adjusted to college life, and make sure he keeps up with his academics. The Cabrini baseball account will show what life is like as a student and keep him up to date on how the team is doing. This will help him make a decision on the school because he can see what a day in the life of a Cabrini baseball player is like. Joe can also get in touch with the coaches this way, and order apparel. Joe can also see the schedule of the teams that they play, and if there are any upcoming recruiting camps he may want to go to.  

The second buyer persona is a parent who is looking at colleges for their students. This parent has a child in high school around junior year. The parent and child are beginning to look at schools for the child. They want to play baseball in college, and the parent wants to check out the program and learn about the school. The Cabrini baseball account is a great way for this parent to look into the program. The account can show the parent what their child would be doing on a daily basis and how much work is involved. This can help the parent talk to their child about the commitment the team needs to have and how much of their time would be invested into this. The parent can browse the account and find information about the coaches as well.

Cabrini baseball’s audience is high school and college baseball players. This social media platform is to get recruits to come to the school and play. The account advertises information about the school and the team. The teams schedule will be posted and updates on the scores will be provided. High school students will be able to order apparel from the team as well.

The audience is male and typically ranges from juniors in high school to college athletes. They can come from all over the world. The audience has a wide variety of ethnicities, and their income ranges greatly. These athletes must have a high school education. Cabrini baseball is heavily involved with the academic aspects of college, and the account will show what it is like to be a college athlete.

The audience typically needs to be highly motivated and must have a desire to succeed. The Cabrini baseball account wants to showcase the teams desire to win games, and their strong work ethic. The account will showcase different players and give information about them so the audience can get a feel for their personality, and what the team chemistry is like. The audience will most likely be people who are competitive as well.

All in all, the Cabrini Baseball account will showcase different aspects of the team, and show what they are all about. This will give prospective athletes a real look into the program. This account will help connect athletes to the school, and help with recruiting purposes.

Under Armour uses many social media platforms to market their products. The two most popular social media platforms they use are Instagram and Twitter. They post very frequently on Instagram, usually every few hours or days. The account is kept up to date and continues to grow in followers everyday. Under Armour has 7.9 million followers on Instagram alone. Each post gets about 40,000 likes, and about 100 comments. In their bio, they have a link to the Under Armour website with all of their products. It is a professional business account, and their posts showcase their clothing.

Twitter is also another social media platform that Under Armour uses. This is also a business account. Similarly to the Instagram account, they have the website link in the bio. They have 972.5k followers on twitter. Most of their tweets get around 75 retweets and 200 likes. They tweet about the different articles of clothing that they are producing and the different athletes that endorse the company.

Both Instagram and twitter are very popular in todays society, and many athletes follow the company on both platforms. Under Armour markets their products to athletes which is very effective. Most people buying their products are using the clothing to work out in or do some type of physical activity. By using different athletes to market their products on social media, it is attracting more customers. People will want to buy the same apparel as their favorite athletes. One thing that could be improved is suppling links to the different items either in the captions or tweets. That way people have easy access to find these things. All in all, both social media platforms for Under Armour are effective.

The things small businesses, non-profit organizations and personal accounts have is they have to start out small and work their way up. They won’t automatically have a fan base that will interact and help them get a bigger audience. They have to start out small and build their fan base from the ground up.

Small businesses starting out have to be active. They have to be communicating in their comments section. That is businesses starting out build a customer base. Non-profit organizations put out ads that will tap into people’s emotions in hopes that they will want to volunteer. People using it for their personal use that are trying to acquire followers should try to find something unique that will catch peoples attentions.

One thing I want to share with my friends would be that if they want to build followers then they need to distinguish themselves from other people. Posting multiple times a day won’t increase their followers. It can just become bothersome to the individuals following them.
